Pros

Some of the coworkers you meet will be cool You'll meet some interesting customers

Cons

The company doesn't know what they want to be or how to grow the business. Just a hint, if you're store is called Finish Line that indicates you carry running shoes as well as everything else. Rather than training employees how to sell high end running shoes they have pretty much abandoned the market and decided to focus on add ons. Just take the customer's money and don't worry about actually giving them what they need.

Pros

Great exposure to senior staff, challenging meaningful work, lots of great perks (employee discount at stores, free workout classes, ect). Honestly such a wonderful experience!

Cons

Mediocre pay compared to other competitive internships, not centrally located in Indy, almost no interns were hired on after the summer.
