Pros

Pay and Bonus scale was good! Discount was also very good! All Managers in the district worked together to achieve one common goal! Ability to develop as a manager.

Cons

Corporate was more worried about how profitable the company is instead of making sure the employees are happy and being taken care of. Hard to advance from smaller store to bigger store without sucking up and throwing your personal life away.

Pros

Exciting industry and Finish Line is at the forefront in product selection, store design, technology and a strong competitive desire to be by far the most premium athletic specialty retailer in the industry...if not the whole retail industry.

Cons

The culture of the company through up until roughly 2010 was what made it the company that it is/was. Unquestionably an incredible executive team that truly understood it's most important asset, it's people, and you felt it and were deeply inspired to be a part of the team. Those days are gone. One's desire to excel has been replaced by executive's use of fear to motivate. Very dark morale in the field. Zero confidence in the executive team. Wildly successful long-term and even shorter leaders have either left because of it or were forced out.

Pros

It is a large company with many opportunities. They are also involved in a very trendy market with the latest products from high profile vendors.

Cons

The IS department was very unorganized. Each department was completely clueless as to how each was run. Middle Management (under the director) was very weak. The Turn over was so high it was easier just not to learn names of new employees.
