Pros

I truly enjoy the drive my district manager demonstrates, and I was fortunate enough to have great coworkers. The double discount is great too.

Cons

As hard as I have worked, I still have yet to receive a raise, let alone an actual review. Other coworkers of mine are lazy and expect someone else to clean up after them. The pay for the Macy's associates are higher than the actual Finish Line stores, but the lack of recognition almost isn't even worth it.

its easy to move up as long as your store manager is willing to help you. mine is childish (only 24 years old)

Pros

You can learn a lot if you are willing to go the extra mile. This company can be used as a stepping stone for something great.

Cons

It's equivalent to working in a high school. Communication between management is horrible. They under pay workers. The company works by who you know instead of what you know. The quickest way to move up is if you know someone in the managerial positions. A lot of things go unnoticed or under appreciated. They treat the distribution center employees as if they are uneducated. The distribution center has a 70% turn over rate. Working here will teach you how not to treat employees as well as how important communication is. This is a company that will teach you the do's and don'ts on how to run a distribution center.
