Pros

Finish line is a great place to work. It teaches you how to work with the general public, specifically in sales. While on the sales floor you encounter several different scenarios that generally range from happy/satisfied customers to...not so happy/un satisfied customers. These serve as great experiences to keep you on your toes, learn to think and ultimately put into practice all your skills to be able to approach the customer in a proper manner.

Cons

The pay is not the best. It holds you down if you are in the age range from 19-23 and are still in school. (Assistant manager)

Pros

Excellent benefits along with extensive training available for advancement within the company...whether it's local or relocating to a new state.

Cons

Hours and product allocation was not always to the advantage of the store. Even tho DC was on point...allocation of certain products is not as good as it should be

Pros

The only plus was a discount on products in store. Once in a while we could get shoes before anyone else, but that is rare

Cons

Being forced to work 55 hours plus a week but only paid a salary based on 40. Going over six years without a raise. Can only take a week off at a time, no matter how much vacation you have saved. Only one full day off a week. Half days turn into whole days 99% of the time. They are quick to reprimand you if one pair of shoes is missing during inventory. However, if everything is there they force you to do it again three times before they accept the numbers. Even then they act like you are covering something up. Never getting an opportunity to be promoted after becoming store manger.
