      Toxicity runs deep in Engineering

      Pros

      Some good people. Shoe discounts. Someone at some time knew the right tech stack to migrate toward (however, those individuals have moved on. More on why in the cons section)

      Cons

      * Lacks strong engineering culture * Top-down feedback * No skip-level meetings * No support from HR or CTO, with no action taken against bad actors (despite feedback from many employees). * Senior management positions w/o engineering experience * No growth opportunities for experienced engineers.

      Absolutely wonderful working culture You'll be working with some pretty cutting edge tech Lots of celebrations, you definitely feel appreciated here Your contributions are definitely felt much more than at much bigger companies

      Last time I worked there, a shift to come back to the office was happening The office isn't in the greatest of areas Not a fan of the D.E.I stuff they make mandatory for everyone

      Pros

      Good benefits, amazing bonuses for Corporate employees, OK discount if you like shoes. Despite issue with management, most lower level corporate employees are very competent and knowledgeable.

      Cons

      Unreasonably restrictive "security" on corporate internet. Changes in direction so many times that it's nearly impossible to get anything done. Failed project after failed project after failed project. Career advancement difficult if not impossible because of frequent turnover and changes in direction in management. Upper management completely "old guard" out of touch clueless pompous and pontificant. Although good people work here, the atmosphere is not a professional one.
