      Weak management. Lots of talent.

      Pros

      People are nice. Good worker bees. Relaxed environment. There are some smart people here. IT equipment is new and plentiful.

      Cons

      Horrible management. They have good workers but there is no hint of strategy in this place. Relaxed environment came at a cost of lack of accountability.

      Once a powerhouse, now a shadow of its former self

      1. Still have a sizable market share in security. 2. Sandbox tech works very well. 3. There are still a bunch of extremely smart people in Engineering and research. 4. Catered lunch four days a week. 5. Unlimited vacation (good if you are taking interviews to get out of this place).

      Cons

      1. Network engineering is headed by a spineless idiot who knows nothing. 2. There is too much ego clash among managers in the company. Everyone is busy pushing their own stuff instead of looking out for the greater good. 3. No clear path forward for employees to grow. Promotion is arbitrary and usually used as a pacifying measure. 4. Way too many bad hires made in the past few years in the name of growth. 5. Pay well below market rates. 6. Lack of vision from upper management and product managers.

      Some points. *Good relaxed environment*. *Free lunch and snacks*. *Good learning opportunity for new bees*. *Colleagues are helpful and friendly*. *There is unique security technology no other company has*.

      Cons

      Some points. *Joined Fireeye for better technology and work*. *Endpoint team in Fireeye was not a good choice for me*. *Far behind competitors and many delays in the release*. *India team does not have any voice*. *Politics and fights with German and US teams*. *People are moved to unrelated projects*. *There is constant attrition*.
