Environment is too conservative

Pros

I work with a great team at my branch! Love that small family feeling. Customers are great and appreciate the personalized service.

Cons

Sales, very little marketing support. Every time a branch does really well at something upper management changes how it counts on the incentive plan. Every thing is about the numbers. There managers that don’t know jack who are praised because of their sales but can’t run a branch right.

Pros

At first you feel important. Training staff was very friendly, but over states the level of growth, pay, opportunity, and culture.

Cons

No room for growth. The environment is completely conservative. Pay was overstated, raises are non-existent, and the culture completely lacks. The training facility is in a strip mall, from day one, I wish I would of known this reflects how conservative upper management is with keeping money to themselves.

Pros

You do it all! If starting out in your career in the retail banking enviornment. You do everything! Loans, customer service, teller, retention, remittance, and sales.

Cons

The training and benefits are not good! The training is very brief and company does not invest in their employees. The turnover is high in the branches. Not much room for advancement. Have to work almost every weekend!
