Pros
There are opportunities for growth and visibility to leadership on a local level. You are held to high standards, and you will be pushed to produce. However, this accountability brings out the best in you. If you're looking for just a "job", this isn't the bank for you. There are branch sales goals vs individual goals, which creates a healthy, cooperative sales culture. There are robust training programs offered, which will make you prepared to serve the customers regardless if you have previous banking experience. Compensation seems very competitive for the marketplace. Overtime is rare, which results in a predictable schedule and healthy work/life balance.
Cons
Some technology needs upgrades. The bank seems to be making investments in its infrastructure, but upgrades take time. There's a very conservative dress code as well. The bank is very conscious about the image we present externally, resulting in strict standards.
