Pros

While I was their I had some nice coworkers and we celebrated birthdays every month. The work was a little menial but was not to bad. I also had a great manager who was very caring.

Cons

My main problems with the job is mostly the location of the operations building, the working environment, and compensation. The main operations center (the Data center) is located in South Raleigh bordering Garner. Which is far if you are coming from North Raleigh (took me an hour to get to work). They also have the taller cubicles and not that much sunlight (was in the basement). Kind of wish they had it set up like the larger banks where it is more like a trading floor or like Bank of America's new credit center where it is like a trading floor but without designated seating area's. Along with this the pay is lower than what other banks pays. Also this might not bother anyone else but the people who work here are different than people at other banks. Which I thought was very interesting.

Pros

Starting around 2013 lots of new IT staff was brought in for change and new ideas. Old groups were split up and reorganized. Pay is good. Great benefits. Has a cafeteria on site that serves hot food on for breakfast and lunch. Company culture is nice.

Cons

Takes a long time to get in and get interviewed and hired. Interview process makes you feel like a number (pickup an access card, walk in, no tour, tight schedule, long interview process, get out). Others in lobby waiting on same experience.
