      First Citizens is a stable bank where IT is an afterthought.

      Pros

      The benefits are some of the best in the area. Bank is conservative and stable. Location downtown is nice for walking to eat. IT has a great work-life balance. 40-hour weeks, every week.

      Cons

      Employees in the tech center are "out to pasture". This is where you go at the end of your career to coast and build up that 401k. Slow to embrace technology.

      Cafeteria had good prices. Food Ok.

      Cons

      Very strict hours, no flex schedule, immature back-stabbing employees. Management turned their head the other way.
