Pros

-They are very lenient here at FCB, hence why it is a great place to start your career. Being a college student, I appreciated their ability to work with me and my schedule when school started again. -You get great experience. At most banks I would have been a teller doing strictly transactional work. At FCB, I opened accounts, loans, CD's etc and we even are in charge of the sales side of it too. -Solid benefits package, obviously lots of holidays due to it being a bank, and a healthy amount of PTO that should be more than enough for the average person.

Cons

-They don't pay competitively. As I mentioned before, working anywhere else I would be stuck doing strictly transactional work. However, I would be making atleast $2/hr more. Many employees who have worked there for years in the prime of their careers have lost sight of their worth(partially their own fault) and eventually found out that they were making significantly less than some of their newer coworkers. Could be said about any company, but they especially will not reward you unless you bring it up. -The company was very reactive to COVID. It was trying times, but there was not much leading going on. Mainly it felt like they let things go until there were enough complaints but by the time any action was taken, many of us were left with a sour taste in the mouth.
