Pros

Good pay, nice hours, my direct supervisors were spectacular, my peers were fantastic. I truly enjoyed my job. Most of the clients you build a relationship with.

Cons

Upper management makes decisions that drastically affect hourly workers. If you're part-time you don't get adequate PTO but the current CBC manager is great about making it work if you need time off.

--Better than slavery --Bonus perk: Management is indifferent to employees whisteling "Careless Whisper" by George Michael while at work

Cons

--Poor compensation for job positions compared to other bank's in the area --Inadequate training, yet management expects performance --Mediocre benefits

COMMUNITY FIRST

Pros

I believe FCB wants to be a community first bank.

Cons

FCB falls short in many areas from excessive Fees to neglecting the competent employees that helped build those 'Community' Branches. FCB has literally buried customers in debt when they were already struggling financially with their continuous OD Fees. If it wasn't a Bank error, don't help the customer by reversing any fees. Instead of paying a competitive wage to keep competent, knowledgeable employees, let them leave and waste thousands of dollars trying to hire new staff and training them. The Teller system/process is outdated. Employees waste more time correcting errors instead of helping customers. The overlap of Tellers and Bankers work for some people but it is okay to separate the roles and surprisingly it works well.
