Awful company. Don't work or bank here!

Pros

PTO is one of the few worthy benefits this bank offers. The bank holidays are nice too!

Cons

Poor management throughout the company. Middle management is filled with "yes men." And you don't argue with management because they are always right. Poor morale with the employee base. You can't go a day without seeing or talking to someone who is fed up with the place and overworked. Departments are completely under-staffed. Company is doing all it can to save a penny. Is First Commonwealth that bad off? Pathetic approach to employee recognition. They put your name on the employee website and on a piece of paper. "Good job" Don't work here if you have a family. You will be expected to put them on the backburner because management says so

Pros

Got to learn how to please uppe management They took me out to dinner occasionally, after I satisfied their needs They gave me a Blackberry, which demonstrates my alpha male status and helps impress the females

Cons

Low wages, compared to Lending positions at other Banks Very political--new people receive better benefits (free hotel) and advance within the bank much quicker if they know someone who works here Bathroom always smells foul Coworkers are not goat friendly The women do not always appreciate my advances, even though I am very desireable Occasionally get groped--by a man...
