Pros

Good salary upon initial hire, challenging work, job security, it pays the bills. Co-workers are great!

Cons

Many Managers are not engaged. Individual chosen for Supervision lack leadership and technical skills. Once hired inside the company, it is a good old boy network with what staff referred to as smokers and jokers. That is a major problem in improper decisions, promotions and raises. Producers and commitment are not recognized criteria and it results in most part in an unhappy work environment.

Pros

Thousands of square feet of empty cubicles due to staffing reductions after mergers means that there is always plenty of free space.

Cons

Corporate management will claim that regional management is above reproach, and company policy requires openness and honesty. Thus, if one's regional manager creates a problem that you must address with them, you will be required to address it (lest you be dishonest or secretive), and then you will be fired (because management is above reproach).

Very fair and equitable company. Positive working environment. A "think tank" of employees who respect one another and share ideas. The company treats their employees very well from a salary and benefits standpoint.

Cons

It is difficult to move up in management if you are a woman, despite your hard work and being a team player.
