Pros

They are good at generating fraudulent statements and invoices.

Cons

FirstService Residential is a property management company operating in Canada and the United States who have been scamming their residents for years. They are also known to be corrupt; forging proxies at the board of directors annual General meeting to select Board Of Directors that are affiliated with the management company in order to keep them active in the condominium. There are more than a hundred exasperated reviews online spanning a few years; people are taking to the internet to leave reviews after receiving what can only be described as the worst property management ever! The 2.2 star review on Google should be a testament of the kind of company they are. From the lack of communication, attentiveness, to increasing the maintenance fee for condominium owners, and to hiring under-qualified employees to manage properties - this is simply not the company you want to be dealing with. If the above mentioned did not put you off working with them, there are also complaints that you can search for online that found FirstService Residential guilty of taking illegal under the table commissions from contractors that they deal with. The icing on the cake? They deal with corrupt lawyers to try and cover up internet complaints and reviews about them. They’re taking away people’s freedom of speech.

Pros

Lifestyle network is great, they are supportive of one another. Love Michelle Kithcart and Sherman, they are in charge of Lifestyle team and is super encouraging, collaborative and positive.

Cons

Upper management only cares about keeping contracts with communities, does not care about employees at all which is felt by a majority of employees. There is a lot of talk about values but none are reflected in how they treat people. Empty promises on growth opportunities and no positive feedback for excellent performance. It's disappointing because at the end of they day there isn't any support and people are replaceable which becomes obvious after a few years. President Michael Mendillo is awesome, its the management underneath him who are distant, disinterested and harsh. It's a dead end job unless you are fine with staying stagnant.

Pros

Every few years you learn a whole new set of buzzwords. Your in with leadership depends on how much of a fitness guru you are. It's the CEO's swan song. They're vindictive and childish. It's almost laughable.

Cons

Average pay and benefits. Spend 15mn a day wondering how much they spend having someone write the scripts for FirstCall. It's groundhogs day - EVERYDAY. National complains about the Regions. Vice Versa. A lot of lip service and chest beating.
