Pros

Strong brand presence in the fintech space with a broad client portfolio. Opportunities to build relationships with financial institutions and gain exposure to complex products and services. Compensation can be competitive depending on role and performance. There are talented individuals across teams who are collaborative and knowledgeable.

Cons

There is a significant lack of work-life balance, with workloads often extending beyond standard expectations. Role expectations can be unclear, leading to ambiguity in priorities and responsibilities. Internal processes are fragmented, and cross-functional communication is inconsistent, which can create inefficiencies and frustration. Career growth and internal mobility may feel unclear depending on the team.

Pros

Fiserv was a great company until the First Data purchase and subsequent merger.

Cons

It all fell apart when the Fiserv management was ousted and First Data took over. It became a very toxic place to work and nothing ever got accomplished. Constant layoffs and constant change in processes. It was a miserable place to work.
