Company tries to do things in office every week to keep morale up

Company spies on what employees are doing (what apps are running and how long). Requires badge in and out to monitor you. Office wont allow us to keep blinds up because of electricity costs, then why are we going to the office if you can't afford it? If I'm going to the office I should at least be allowed to have the full brightness of the sun inside and at least enjoy what I can see from outside. Going onsite to talk to people offsite a lot, makes no sense. A lot of employees were forced to be contractors. More jobs are being shipped to India and Costa Rica and more and more they dont want employees, just contractors. All this means they don't trust their workers and just see them as a waste of money.
