Pros

Great associates that are worked to death

Cons

Good ole boys club - some employees are allowed to come & go as pleased - if you're part of the boys club. Others are called on the carpet for small infractions

Pros

Fiserv has great benefits- insurance plan is the best that I have seen in an employer. They also promote Weight Watchers and have some fun competitions to keep you physically active. The people in Sioux Falls, SD are a good group and will always help you when needed.

Cons

Training "program" is horrible for new employess. It was basically like you start and figure things out for yourself as you go along. There wasn't ANY formal training in my position which makes it a little scary considering you have to present yourself to banks who have purchased Fiserv products. Things are constantly changing, which is expected when working with software and technology but it's almost like you never get an opportunity to fully grasp the software before it changes. They try to promote "one Fiserv" but it's nearly impossible. There are times I will have to speak with 5 different people before finding someone who knows the answer.

Pros

When you are not working night holidays and weekend you might have some free time.

Cons

You name the Con and Fiserv delivers. If you are looking for directionless senior management Fiserv is your place. If you are looking for a company that does not like to give raises this is your place. If you want a place that does not have good benefits Fiserv is the place for you. Also had an interview to move internally in the company to be out of Frisco, Texas and they wanted me to work nights, weekends and holidays. Also I would be traveling for 3 to 6 weeks without coming home. They said I would have a food budget of $25 and if I have to each at the C-Store that is just fine. Fiserv also has a code of ethics they do not live by.
