Pros

Once you master your product, you basically get paid to answer questions for newer people. (Also a con). If you play golf league, you'll do great. Very flexible with dental and medical appointments.

Cons

24 hour cell phone rotation isn't fun for working family with children. Lack of product innovation. Lack of upward movement. Raises 2% or lower. .8% was my lowest. Majority of employees juggle support and installation in Lincoln. You do the responsible work of 4 or 5 people at other companies. I left for the same pay but a sliver of the responsibility for a company that promotes easily with pay bumps. I could go on but it all boils down to pay and product quality and direction. I would go back if I had control of my product.

Run, don't walk in the opposite direction

Pros

Generally good people in the lower ranks

Cons

Management allowing blatant disregard for rules and laws - even when it is brought to their direct attention. Cliques being allowed to run rampant - and actually derailing upper management directives. Little to no career path unless you are willing to do things that are less than kosher. No salary increases for 3 straight years while the company touted the huge free cash flow and the C-level execs got significant increases. Being expected to work 50-60 hours a week as a salaried employee.

Frustrating

Pros

Great people to work with.

Cons

Rampant nepotism that is not hidden at all to the average associate. Unrealistic production goals given routine system issues and outdated software. Incompetent management and supervisors. I have seen regular associates helping supervisor do their own job on many occasions. People are fired for inconsistent reasons and little regard is given to the bottom level associate. This could be a career killer for some people.
