Pros

Smart technical folks. Better management now than a year or two ago. Neat technical solutions and products.

Cons

Worst health insurance you can find. Poor compensation. HR is in the middle of everything except attracting and keeping talent. No agility. Lack of interdepartmental cooperation. Incentives not to cooperate. Continuous cost cutting in both petty and real ways. FET.

Pros

Fiserv Pays on time every time.

Cons

This place is full of rats, brown nosers and a-holes every which way you look. Worked there for close to one year and I learned one thing - relationships is what keeps you around this place. You could be a deadbeat but if you know how to suck up to bosses, which are may too many, and peers, you are not going to loose your job. All you got to do is just show up every day or dial in from home, be "visible". This is also one of my ex bosses told me too, that thats all he does and it has kept him around for years and many more to come. He just bull shits day in and day out, and practically contributes zero % of anything useful. If you are smart and passionate about change and improvements and quality work life, fogget bout it, do yourself a favor, do not accept position here if you are getting one. This place reallly suck bad.

Pros

Industry leading / cutting edge products. Pockets of excellence exist outside of corporate headquarters. Extreme potential for success if changes are made at Senior leadership level.

Cons

If you like working for a company where compensation plans change annually based on the whim of the CEO and CFO, Fiserv is the place you. Do not expect to have a realistic opportunity to earn what you are promised when you come here... This is not a meritocracy.... And commitments by senior leadership are frequently broken.
