Pros

Great people to work with. Interesting Job. Flexable working hours.

Cons

Pay is not too great. 2 years of pay freeze followed by tiny raise which was delayed by 6 months. HDHP health plan is the only one available. Bonus cut each year and is now pretty worthless. Only people to get promoted are in the 'managers club'. Expected to work longer hours/weekends with no recognition. Management says one thing, and then does another.

Pros

The company is always hiring in some place. In the area there is not many employers that are as steady as this one. Steady meaning it, it doesn't look like it is going to close its doors anytime soon.

Cons

For a well known company world wide, it is ran terribly. Management needs some serious improvement. Management relies more on statistics and what numbers are on a report that ensuring the employee morale is where it should be. Rather than help employees learn and prosper, employees are looked at as a number. For too long this company has been one of the only good paying companies in town. So now they just turnover people and hire new. Which is never good. There are the "20 year-ers" that live high on the hog and don't do anything. Rather than release software that works, they release stuff on a shot-gun pace. Half the time the releases are worse than the previous one. For a software company, their quality control is worthless. In some cases software is released to clients that the people on support haven't even seen before. Bottom line.... too many chiefs and not enough indians!
