Pros

The work is great to assist our sponsors and subscribers in resolving their issues. The salary is above average, and the committment of the former CheckFree's tenured is awesome. This is why we remained at this company. The majority of the employees enjoy resolving the customers issues. It provides a sense of accomplishment.

Cons

The management of Fiserv after the sale of CheckFree. The mentality of this company is money. It seems they do not care about the people who really have a committment to this company. Since the merger, the company has removed over 200 jobs, from the former CheckFree Company. Now, they want to save money, but lose the Quality of the services expected by the Clients and Sponsors. The atmosphere around the associate who really keep this company going, is when am I going to lose my job? We all know it is coming, but Why? Why does the Corporate World have to just look at the bottom dollar? Aren't they CEO's and President's of the companys' making enough with their salaries, bonuses, jets and etc?

Pros

Big company, some business units have talented people, reasonable PTO, opportunity to work with interesting clients, they seem to have good organizational processes for things like HR

Cons

Depending on which business unit you work with, the standards for what constitutes acceptable work vary dramatically. Very little chance for promotion/advancement if you're doing a good job in your current position. Foolish business decisions and lack of a clear strategy hinder your ability to get things done. Inter-departmental fighting/blaming. No raises at all for 2 years, yet the C-level gang all made far more money each year.
