Dysfunction - Don't be fooled by the mirage

Pros

The people - they're talented, hard working, smart and fun.

Cons

Fiserv over works their employees, and abuses the ones who want to put in the time and appreciate doing a good job. All the good employees leave because they're smart enough to realize it's not going to get better. I'm currently looking and can't wait to get out of here. Don't be fooled by the mirage - the office is beautiful but it disguises the disorganization and dysfunctional management on the inside. What good is a beautiful office if you're worked into the ground and not able to appreciate it? If you want to have any sort of work life balance - don't work here.

Pros

Its just a regular company like others. Not much difference.

Cons

This company uses Sapience spyware tool installed on your laptop to monitor your work activity. If you don't type in 5 min it will show as not working and manager will reach out to you if Sapience shows less working hours and warn you. Employees are facing unnecessary stress and depression due to this. If you are talented and want peace in your life, i warn you to join some other company and enjoy your life. Current CEO and CTO got fired from JPMC as they were monitoring upper level management email. They joined Fiserv now and implementing similar kind of activities. HR team and directors are dumb enough to know that they will also be monitored. Basically there is no trust between management and employees. I would rate the management as Psychopaths to put it shortly. Fiserv is most admired company according to Forbes for multiple years. Excuse me ? Admired by whom ? Do think its admired by employees. Its admired by psychopathic upper management, maybe their hedge fund investors. Its almost you are working as a slave for this company. You should come to office 4 days a week and stay in office for 10 hours to show 8 hours of work and also additional commute time. Save yourself from all this headache if you are talented to find another job. Join this company temporarily and move on. Not worth working for longer years.

Pros

Enough pay to survive. Talented people who genuinely want to do good work

Cons

Whew, Strap in: - Culture is riddled with micromanagers who lack leadership skills and only want to make their bosses happy, not their direct reports. - Culture of finger pointing, blame game, and zero accountability. - Company is a victim of Goodhart's Law - There’s no concept of team. Just you on an island by yourself. - Be prepared to be thrown under the bus more times than you can imagine. - There’s no work life balance, just work. Expect to be swamped with work and only regular overtime can save you. You won't be paid more for the overtime. - Learning takes place on your own time, never on the job. - Managers spy on your computer activity weekly through the Sapience software monitoring tool
