Fair amount of Freedom, flexibility on hours.

Cons

Franchise owners' commission structure starts commissions only after it overlaps the cost of your hourly rate. You only start at about a 35% cut of the total of your labor, while the owner takes the remainder. Additionally the franchise owner does not take any responsibility if the customer does not pay and withholds commissions (sometimes indefinitely) despite the fact the work was done even though its the franchise owners sole job is to collect the funds. Appears to be overstaffed by design leaving major shortages of work before most Thursdays. Constant racist remarks

Pros

I made solid contacts through clients I was sent out to service.

Cons

You use your: -vehicle -gas (no compensation for mileage) -tools (which need regular maintenance -chemicals (the dawn soap provided just doesn’t cut it by itself) -30/70 split on all tickets (employee gets 30. Shocker there) -yearly raise in the split (never gets honored)
