I really felt like I was part of a team working with the folks at Fish & Richardson. People really pulled together. And the benefits were great.

Cons

From my experience, it is very much a for-profit company and as a biller you will take on a lot of difficulty from attorneys who make way more than you do and pretty clearly see your work as trivial or easy, which it is not. You will be up against deadlines that are not honored by those whose work you depend on.

Independent environment Room for growth especially if you want to attend law school or move into Paralegal Strong history and some awesome people Loved the location personally

Cons

Your experience can vary based on who you are working for/with Old timers that have the say and like the status quo, although there is lots of change and innovation You have to be able to advocate for yourself in terms of pay and workload. I saw some people get crushed by work and stress because they didn’t know how to be in the law profession and speak the language.
