High stress, good pay, no time to spend the money.

Pros

Working with highly intelligent, hard working people was a delight. Workspace and IT support were top of the line. Prestige associated with the firm acceptable.

Cons

While at first blush everyone appeared happy and polite, with time it became clear this was not the case. From paralegals to partners, there were some sincerely bad apples. These bad apples existed throughout the firm, from the headquarters in Boston to the branch offices.

A good place to work until the move to the Seaport area

Pros

Excellent compensation and benefits esp 401k plan, the holiday bonus was a very nice touch, and they encourage continued education.

Cons

The new Seaport location is really lousy. It's hard to get to, not safe at night, and creates for a stiffling environment. The medical benefit for people earning over $90K is lousy because they're in a higher tier and asked to pay a much higher premium for rates.

Pros

From day one it was a team atmosphere. Employees work together to get the job done and it is noticed on a group and individual level.

Cons

The commute was the biggest negative I had. My commute was on average an hour each way and could be very unpredictable.
