Pros

The free membership was cool.

Cons

Lets start with the pay. No only as an assistant manager here are you not paid enough, but if the team didn't perform well you are expected to come in on your days off to hit the sales goal. An assistant manager maybe made $2k monthly but no overtime so they could work you all that they wanted to without having to pay you more. Manager/ sales reps can expect to work 7 days a week. Every 2 weeks we had "close out" hours where the entire sales team worked 12 hour days. Close out is pretty much where we lower prices on monthly memberships in hopes to bring in more customers. But what customers don't know is that they can get those prices pretty much anytime of month if they complain about the price a little bit to management. Smh. Upper management was a joke. A bunch of old timers who think they know how to sell because they had a hot streak a couple years back that landed them a nice salary job. So they harp on everyone below them because they think they know what's going on. My last month there, all of the store managers/assistant managers in the entire company went on strike because upper management was setting goals too high which was requiring all assistant and general managers of the store to come in 7 days per week. Literally all the managers stopped coming into work. Upper management answered by firing all the managers. It was a real mess. If you value your time and your money, don't work here.
