Pros

-GMC -Only required to close once a week -Fun store Environment

Cons

-Pay for workload, they pay internal store manager promotions less than newly hired store managers. - Expectations on limited payroll. -The normal annoying retail things youve heard about time and time again, with the added bonus of public bathrooms...as traumatizing as you can imagine.

Pros

Good first job without any experince.

Cons

When i was doing the interview for this job the store hadn't opened yet. they hired over 20 people and we helped open the store. after the store was opened they cut everyone's hours because they only needed 3 people to run the store. made everyone quit basically because we could only work 8 hours a week. they scammed us.

Corporate is a wreck

Pros

Depending on your position in the store, the job is quite simple; ring customers, greet, and keep the store tidy. Loved working as an associate/shift lead.

Cons

Once you get to be management within the store itself is when it gets hard. Corporate will give unsustainable workloads and unrealistic expectations, despite giving stores a budget of about 200 hours per week. When I first got my promotion, I had a single day of training before my district and store managers went on vacation for a week, as well as two no call no shows at 6am, way too early to fill the shift and have some help. After coming in early and staying late; even doing an overnight 2am-10am shift, I was told by my DM that i had no urgency and it was ridiculous. Not a care to the lack of education or support that I had received.
