      The general environment working within Five Below was always welcoming and fun! I loved working with everyone, and the customers were always great.

      Pros

      I have a lot of fun working for FiveBelow as a Merchandise manager. You have a lot of opportunities to grow within the company and people are very approachable. If you reach out you can expect a timely response and assistance.

      Cons

      Depending on your location and the crew you work with will 100% determine how successful you will be. If you have a bad management team to work with you will struggle. Also the company has been very slow to improve the pay/bonuses of ALL management positions.

      If you get lucky, you can develop a team that fits your niche.

      Cons

      Pay is atrocious for workload. It should be illegal to work for free as a salaried employee on the pay scale. I worked for years and towards my end when the company found out I finished grad school and am going for my dreams, it was nothing but grief and how awful I am. New DM in the Georgia market took over, he was not supportive and I had more experience than him.
