Pros

Fun work environment. Low stress job. There is high turn over so for the most part there are opportunities for advancement.

Cons

Low income and hours. Unfair management. Irate customers are an average sight due to complaints about broken merchandise.. most of the time they just need to be shown how products work. The general managers are incompetent and usually leave most of the work for assistant and part time managers while they reap all the benefits. District management varies but for the most part pleas from staff remains unheard despite how many times complaints are brought up. It's very hard to consult with the general managers about issues because they are the ones making the schedule, therefore, the possibility of hours getting cut due to personal feelings is high - happens a lot.

Pros

I love coming to work. The job is always fun and I keep busy so the day goes by quickly. I love the music i get to listen to while working. The job never gets boring. The pay and benefits are okay but not exactly competitive to other companies in my area. I have learned a lot since I started working here and the schedules are flexible. The H.O. staff has always been very helpful.

Cons

Lack of promotions available for talent in my area. I have stayed because I love what I do.

Pros

Discount. That's really all I can say. I got a yoga mat for something like $4? And before I got fired I had the chance to stock up for college.

Cons

I worked here for four months and heard through the grapevine that we had been overhired. When I was let go, I was told it was because I "wasn't catching on." I was often the only associate working, usually closing, and I often had to work until 11:30 (not 10 as my schedule said) without actually being given a break to eat. A few times I was on call for opening and called when I was supposed to but no one picked up because no one was even at the store till I was scheduled to work (I actually went and showed up and was then told I was not needed). There were a few weeks when I was graduating high school that I had requested some days off, and for those days I was only scheduled for the exact times I had requested off... was supposed to work my own graduation. Schedules were put up on a really inconsistent basis.
