1. Loaded down with forms, procedures and various internal inspections. Not a problem if they did not tell you to be on the cooking line 90% of your time.
2. Organization expanded on the restaurant end way too fast. Corperate office did not. Employees not getting correct pay. W-2s being late by 6 months for several employees. I even had to chase them for pay I was due after I was terminated. They paid me some of it and when I asked for reasoning, no responses from 2 people that handled payroll.
3. NEVER! I mean NEVER ask anyone, from Corperate that visit you store, questions on "why" or "how". I asked a question that my boss did not have an answer for and I was told by one of the owners "I don't know". The next day I heard I was almost fired for asking why we cook at a certain temp because the French Fry consistancy was a company wide issue. I learn by asking those who are supposed to be the experts. By the way, my asking came after He had already asked me what kind of issues we had been facing. I told him of several and he was on the phone in an instant fixing them. Being helpful is not incouraged but it is a serious threat to your employment.
