The staff is caring and genuinely want you there. Substitute teachers are and integral part of the public school system. Teachers having someone they can depend on to continue their lessons when they're absent brings genuine peace of mind.

Cons

Kids are kids. They will try their luck on a daily basis.

Decisions are made on how it should positively impact students. District leadership takes the time to listen to input from all stakeholders. Small enough to know everyone and make decisions that impact quickly.

Cons

Very small district, therefore chances are you will be expected to wear multiple hats that are normally another job in larger districts. Doable, but sometime difficult to juggle multiple "jobs" at once.
