Pros

1. The mission is as compelling as it gets and the impact the company has and will make is very real 2. Incredibly talented and collaborative co-workers across the board 3. Management has done a very effective job working through major strategic/landscape shifts

Cons

1. It may be possible to develop a more streamlined approach for getting sign off on major decisions/initiatives - as the company continues to get bigger this will be key to maintain decision making velocity

Amazing place to work

Pros

Amazing people who are truly passionate about doing things that matter. Great work environment with a strong collaboration culture. Everybody's voice matters at the table. Great pay, amazing benefits:unlimited vacation days, super duper health plans, unlimited snacks, catered lunches, beer on tap, cold brew, gym and phone reimbursement . The vision of the company motivates me waking up each morning and come to work.

Cons

because of the strong collaboration culture, things can be slow sometimes.

Pros

Some of the smartest, kindest, most interesting people I've ever met who are all united by a shared mission to beat cancer. Phenomenal on-boarding process and a culture that truly supports 3-4 WEEKS of intense on-boarding because they understand how important it is to know the business to be successful here. My manager and team are incredibly thoughtful and supportive. I had a death in the family a few weeks in and they were more than accommodating. Flatiron is just big enough that there is some structure in place but not so much structure that I don't feel like I have a blank slate to create and drive change. The founders are down to earth and accessible and really embedded into the fabric of this place. Our future post Roche acquisition is so bright, we are growing like CRAZY and I'm incredibly excited to be a part of Flatiron's future.

Cons

Knowledge management can be challenging but they have recently hired someone to help address this.
