Pros

You will work alongside hard working, skilled, and efficient team members. There is plenty of growth opportunity for those willing to work hard, continuously learn, and who are able to align themselves with those leaders who want to help their teammates be successful (not difficult - there are MANY of these leaders, and not necessarily in Management positions). Executive Team regularly solicits feedback from team members. Several opportunities throughout the year to earn bonuses, additional PTO, and other perks. There are philanthropic opportunities to participate in throughout the year as well. The organization is very active in the community that it works in and the industry that it serves. You will be surrounded by a number of veterans of the organization and the industry who are always willing to share their knowledge and experience. You will help serve the needs of many large clients in one way or another - many of them are household names. The organization has a reputation in their industry as a best in practice, niche service provider - it is rare that the company loses a client for reasons within the organization’s control. There are work from home/hybrid options for the majority of roles, based on competency and business need. The office is a beautiful, new, state-of-the-art facility that includes an onsite gym, walking path, and other amenities.

Cons

The organization has politics and downsides just like any organization. Compensation packages are, on average, generous though annual increases miss the mark in rare cases. There are times where company policies are not consistently applied. However, the numerous strengths of this company far outweigh the opportunity areas.

Good and Bad

Pros

Flexible WFH, a lot of bonus PTO, Great people, Great CEO, Employee appreciation and awards, Great HQ.

Cons

There is no knowledge sharing. Everything is "Do as I say" with no explanation. If processes change, they aren't broadly communicated properly. HR is outsourced so they aren't there for the employee or don't understand the company culture. They just follow whatever the manager says. Most managers don't even know what they are doing. They rely on seasoned employees to do the work and take the credit for it. They haven't even worked the job they are managing. Policies aren't consistent across the board, leading to unfair treatment of employees. There isn't as much growth as they promote. Most promotions are already pre-selected based on favoritism and not performance and experience. The company is EXTREMELY unorganized. There are few SOP's to follow and everyone does the job differently, so training is a mess, and little of actual training. Bad employees aren't reprimanded. The mentality is they will "work themselves out" leading to department frustrations and low morale.
