      Glad to be away from Flextronics. I joined them when Solectron got acquired by Flextronics.

      Pros

      Might be an opportunity to enter this cutthroat industry. I had started working for Solectron, which was a great place to work at, but we got acquired by Flextronics. I believe one might be able to cope with the culture of Flextronics if one has not experienced a better environment. Very down to earth management, always open to discussions, which is good. Very strong emphasis on "getting things done". Questions are asked later.

      Cons

      Penny pinchers, only driven through controlling. Targets but no strategy. Since there is a strong focus on execution, planning is not a strength which I saw in Flextronics.
