Pros

Modern fleet with high-end jets like the Praetor 600, offering great operational capabilities. • True international operations, providing valuable global experience. • Strong logistical support for flight crews (hotels, transportation, scheduling). • Competitive base salary for the segment. • Exposure to a high standard of client service and luxury aviation operations. • Some leaders are genuinely committed to safety and operational excellence.

Cons

The training environment is toxic, inconsistent, and emotionally harmful. • Some instructors exhibit disrespectful, condescending, and authoritarian behavior, disregarding the trainee’s prior experience. • CRM is broken during training — instructors interrupt radio calls, create distractions, and foster an atmosphere of fear instead of mentorship. • Hostility replaces support: issues like headset malfunctions or procedural questions are met with sarcasm or punitive responses. • Trainees are set up to fail by receiving conflicting instructions and then being penalized for following them. • No cultural sensitivity whatsoever — foreign pilots are made to feel like outsiders, with no language support or awareness from instructors. • Reporting issues yields no meaningful follow-up. Pilots who raise concerns are often ignored or labeled as the problem. • The training program needs a complete cultural overhaul. Until then, talented and qualified professionals will continue to leave or suffer unnecessary emotional stress.
