Pros

After 8+ years at Flexport, I’m still as excited as day one, actually even more! The ability to tackle fresh challenges daily and rotate through different areas of the company has kept my career dynamic. We’re a culture-first organization that values internal promotion and real human connection. Technologically, we’re moving faster than ever, listening to our customers to build an end-to-end platform that handles everything from PO management to fulfillment. Our shift toward AI, automation, and optimization is a game-changer for the industry. If you want to have a tangible impact on global trade, this is the place to do it.

Cons

You work a lot (but it's fun).

Pros

Mission-Driven Leadership: The executive team (including Ryan, Stu & Gopi) is deeply committed to a clear vision of "Speed in the Right Direction". The recent Velocity summit in Vietnam highlighted a leadership team that is accessible and transparent about both our growth (like the 44% YoY growth in Vietnam) and our challenges. Emphasis on Trust and Reliability: There is a refreshing shift away from just "brilliant tech" toward being the most reliable partner for our customers. The "Trust Equation" (Credibility + Reliability + Intimacy / Self-Interest) is becoming the standard for how we operate daily. Global Expansion & Scale: It's an exciting time to be here as we expand our physical footprint. Moving from "grey areas" to having a presence in over 50 global offices (across NAM, EMEA, and APAC) shows the company’s massive scale and commitment to owning the network. Innovation that Solves Real Problems: We aren't just building tools; we are building a "Control Tower" that optimizes inventory, reduces costs, and provides a true one-stop-shop for supply chains.

Cons

maybe these are more challenges based on what we learned: Pace of Change. Moving at "Velocity" is exhilarating but requires a high level of resilience. Because we are constantly iterating on our global network and product suite, team members must be comfortable with frequent shifts in priority to stay aligned. Operational Complexity. As we expand into new markets (like the 118% growth in Cambodia, or EU growth of Fulfillment), there is a constant need to ensure our internal processes keep up with our physical growth.
