Flat Structure, and Poor Management

Pros

Flat structure, not much office politics Encourages you to use AI

Cons

Poor higher management which leads to pressure on managers, which pressures everyone else Managers don't know how to manage people, and are poor communicators Base pay is average or below market average No structure to the work even at this scale No formal training There are always layoffs which causes a lot of distractions, and incomplete work that others have to take on. They would layoff 10-20% of the workforce every couple of months, and there would be no backfill. CEO and management treats you like a number

Pros

It used to have good WLB, and the colleagues were nice and helpful.

Cons

It became awful once they required rto5. And they kept quietly laying people off. The RSUs/stock are only worth about $2 per share now, but when they made the offer, they valued them at $14 per share.
