- Passionate CEO who is approachable - Some people are genuinely good to work with - Small enough that you’ll have tons of visibility

Cons

- Poor work life balance. Unlimited time off is not a good thing. - Some people don’t respect your time and want you to be available 24/7 - Lacks cultural diversity - No clear career progression and high turnover rate - Product doesn’t have a lot of users compared to other similar platforms - No brand recognition outside of the most loyal users so it’s a challenge to sell it to clients

Pros

It's a fun place to work at if you love news. Without the stress of a newsroom, you get to enjoy the best of journalism has to offer. I enjoyed my co-workers and the company's constant drive to innovate, to come up with something new.

Cons

I was a contractor for over 2 years. There were opportunities for them to hire me, but the company seems to be going through more shedding than adding new employees.

- Decision making process is unclear. There's no consistent path to have an impact on the product other than being in a specific circle. - Company emphasizes staying the same an not upsetting existing users over innovation.
