Pros

I got to work with some of the smartest minds. There is a great work atmosphere with a good balance of work and fun. I had a brilliant learning curve as I got to work on multiple technologies within just two years. A lot of the work I did had a good amount visibility associated to it and so it was always felt like I was making a difference.

Cons

Bureaucracy had started creeping in. The previously existing flexibility in choosing projects had started fading away.

Pros

Good place to learn new technologies, particularly open source technologies. Good place to work on products, features, systems, components from scratch to finish, from Backend Systems to the UI (end to end).

Cons

High Work Pressure. A bit disorganised work, a bit lack of planning (unplanned working), a bit too many parallel tasks/threads/projects going on. A bit too much competition within the teams and across teams, less coordination and cooperation within and across teams. Lots of youngsters. More focus on coding, less on design and architecture. Not much technology innovation, although business innovation is present.
