Pros

FFA offers a lot of upside for someone who is willing to work hard and is committed to personal development. The best thing they provide is training. Every day you attend a class on how to be a financial advisor and the CEO brings in industry experts/guest speakers every Wednesday that offer a bunch of great advice on the career. Outside of the training, for those who understand the field, FFA also provide great flexibility on what you can do for clients. You can offer money management through an RIA, securities through a BD, and insurance products through a brokerage which allows an advisor to show all options to a client and stand out in competitive situations.

Cons

There is always room for improvement, the most difficult part of the job is getting set up and building your client base. The more streamlined the onboarding process can be, the easier it is to get the ball rolling.
