      Family oriented- but severely overworked

      Pros

      people work with directly are very friendly. they help out on matters when needed. celebrate birthdays and other holidays together. Family oriented place

      Cons

      severely overworked for such little pay. Most jobs could be done by 2-3 people but are all given to one person to do. So the work load can be a lot for so little. executive Staff salary is very high compared to "regular staff"

      Pros

      Quickly gaining national popularity, so it helps to have your name associated with FSU. Football, if that is your thing.

      Cons

      HR bases their salary on information from what must be 20 years ago. If you work in Student Services, prepare to be low-paid compared to your colleagues nationwide. Tallahassee is not a "cheap" place to live, but based on the pay you would think otherwise. No one with a Bachelor's degree should have to live on 25,000 a year.

      good pay for the city. work is just about 10hrs per 2 weeks.

      Cons

      recitations may go throughout the day. students become annoying sometimes. using blackboard is a nightmare.
