Pros

OUM is hands down the best place to learn to be a designer at Florida State. You will learn all of the practical things that they overlook in class. Plus the leadership is incredibly talented and invests heavily in your success.

Cons

Some of the clients get a bit repetitive, and some projects are a pretty restricting.

Pros

A lot of freedom as long as your department allows it. Some weeks work is low and you're allowed to just hold office hours.

Cons

There are no benefits or long contracts.

Pros

Most of the staff there are very nice, efficient. They have very good gym and library. The environment is nice but too sunny in summer.

Cons

The place Tallahassee is kind of isolated from other main cities. If you are self-motivated, it's Okay. But generally if you work as a researcher, you will feel you don't many colleagues to discuss problems. The reason is FSU is the only big university in this area.
