      Pros

      Very nice, understanding, and willing to work with you. Work well with your schedule and help you get the hours you want. The staff in the HR department are wonderful.

      Cons

      Some of the managers and supervisors can be a little pushy and uptight. There also was some problems when time was asked off and not granted even when it was given with several weeks notice.

      ~The ability to experience the laboratory from an employee perspective as opposed to a student ~Friendly, warm environment ~Learned important instrument calibration, hazardous waste transportation, equipment management, preparation of chemical inventory, interpersonal communication, and experimental design ~Felt as if paid to have fun ~Flexible schedules

      Cons

      ~Prolonged renovation and repair of the lab resulted in many failed experiments due to sensitive fire alarms ~Students never follow protocol, which leads to more broken glassware to clean ~Exposure to harmful substances and situations raised anxiety ~Cleaning an entire eight-room floor of the laboratory
