Pros

Great work life balance; reasonable hours and essentially no weekend work. There is a very friendly work atmosphere: Even after spending the whole day working together, every day after the close people are playing FIFA or card games in the lounge. Everyone enjoys each other's company It is extremely fast paced and competitive, with no down time during the trading day. There is a ton of room for innovation. If you have a good trading idea, no matter how long you have been at the company, it will get implemented quickly without having to cut through red tape. Great lunches every day, with lots to snack on through the rest of the day as well. Fair and generous bonus pool

Cons

There is not much patience for making repeated mistakes, but that is true at any trading firm.

Pros

I've been working at Flow Traders for the past year and a half. Flow gives you a ton of responsibility from day 1. The whole company is very close and the culture is very entrepreneurial. I've spent time in both the Amsterdam and New York offices and both have great perks such as a lounge with video games and Foosball table, company outings and trips, and health benefits. The structure is super flat and management is incredibly approachable about anything. Flow also really values maintaining a work-life balance

Cons

Sometimes the responsibility can be overwhelming and you might find yourself pushed to the limit.

Pros

No matter which office employs you, six months (most) expenses paid training in Amsterdam - thorough learning experience and a great way to get to know the company and its intelligent, friendly people. Management is very active with the traders and very forward thinking - there is a lot to be optimistic about if management continues to make the right decisions. Far better than expected work/life balance and vacation policy compared to rest of the finance industry.

Cons

Company suffers from some growing pains every now and then and while the lax and casual work environment is quite comfortable, a slightly more professional environment would increase performance and innovation. Not much else to complain about!
