Lots of favoritism. Lots of fraternization. It is basically “baby” industry work.

Pros

The job itself is super fun depending on your relationship with your coworkers. Atmosphere is everything, and there are always contests you can win to get gift cards and other neat things.

Cons

Work load can be super heavy, and tips are pooled. Some people do not pull their weight and coast on others. Management sucks. Extremely lazy and entitled. Will literally walk past a dirty table and then tell another employee to clean it. Managers will also sit down for long periods of time. Upper management does not even speak to anyone that is below a management position.

They advertise a higher wage then they low ball you . This is a company wide policy. The amount of work is more than a one person position , they don't have porters so the dishwasher has to do everything, Dump all trash every 2 hours, replace and test 6 water buckets in the kitchen every 2 hours, clean huge stationery bowls in kitchen that take about 20 min each to clean while pots and pans in dish room pile up . Take care of any issues with the dumpsters while dishes pots and pans pile up

Managers had an open door policy but you can’t talk to them when they are the problem. Male/female specific uniforms that make it hard for people who don’t Identify feel comfortable
