The product is competitive in the market

Cons

The marketing of the product is inconsistent with industry standard. The product comes in late to the warehouse compared to industry standard. You're considered an independent contractor, but treated like a company employee. The compensation is not equivalent to the work description. You work all major holidays except Christmas and Thanksgiving

Two weeks of vacation, IF you can get it approved. No one breathing down your neck, until the regional is snooping around and then the direct sales manager is up your rear!

Cons

When I first started 8 years ago my pay was good. Over the last 3 years it became non-existent due to Flowers constantly catering to silly little accounts. Dollar General was treated as though they were Walmart. No benefits. 24/7 on call. Poor communication from sales management. Complicated pay checks(Too many unexplained charges/changes.) I sold my route last year, make a marginal return, but it doesn't make up for the weeks where they couldn't explain the "chargebacks" and I was stuck OWING them $1,000 for the week!
