Pros

Good company with a lot of great people.

Cons

Good company that doesn't promote it's great people. Lack of accountability for poor performance. Pay ratio for project workers versus project talkers (mostly executives) is gross.

Pros

Opportunity to work on complex projects in diverse locations in the world

Cons

It is all about profitability. After 17 years of faithful service I was destaffed off a project in favor of a lower compensated person, placed on Leave of Absence then "given the opportunity" to submit my resignation in order to receive over 9 months of accrued vacation.

Pros

The pay is typically fair depending on the position an employee is hired to do. If you are a white, male, republican with an aptitude to keep upper management happy the sky is the limit. Salaried employees have good vacation benefits but they pay to use them.

Cons

Flour talks a big talk but no actions. HSE has mountains of policies but project management fulfill the minimum requirements. When an employee is injured they take any measures necessary to blame the employee. They take as little responsibility for cost as they can and pass it all off to the client. Project management will cheat craft workers on payroll if it interferes with management bonuses. The project's are male dominated and openly discriminatory to women. Medical benefits are not good. The ethics hotline is a setup to eliminate whistleblowers. Company policies are so intense they should be considered harassment.
