HR lies to you about the job to get you there (working overseas). While I worked there, we had 3 paycuts and also a cut in bonus's and in our vacation time. Management is clueless, they are a 'good ole boy' network and won't hire educated people, so if you have a college degree you can forget about a promotion. They will "promote" you in name only, and tell you that you have to wait 6 months to qualify for the pay rate increase, and then you find out you might get the increase.
