Way too many poorly educated people in charge, even on the office engineering side. Company still manages under the old-school mentality of my way or the highway. No room for extremely well educated and experienced people to seriously advance into intellectually stimulating positions.

My experience was that the current global procurement organizaton was promoting individuals based on their ethnicity. I can say it because I am of Asian descent. My husband was caucasian so he was told by his supervisor he did not the certain ethinic that the company was currently looking for. Also it seemed it was easier for a women to get accepted in the Global Business Leadership Team than a man. Again this was my experience.
